Girl Scouts of Colorado Kiwa Day Camp is powered by volunteers. Some are Girl Scout leaders while others may be parents (DADS, too) or other relatives involved in Girl Scouting in different ways. Volunteer help is needed to ensure PA success in running the Day Camp program. The volunteer’s job is primarily to provide oversight and model leadership. Training is provided for unit leaders and open to all volunteers. Share your knowledge and skills, try new things, enjoy a rewarding week, and HAVE FUN! For a small fee, younger children and boys of volunteers are invited to join in camp activities in their own special units while their parents are on-site volunteering at camp.
Unit Leaders (ULs) receive a camper discount. 1-5 day adult volunteers (in addition to ULs) are also needed. To volunteer, fill out the adult volunteer application included in this registration form. (All Adult Volunteers are required to complete Girl Scout Volunteer application, background check form, and Adult Girl Scout Registration.) ➢ Unit Leaders receive a camp T-Shirt, patch, and a 50% discount on one child’s camp fees. ➢ 3-5 day volunteers receive a T-shirt and a patch. ➢ 1-2 day volunteers receive a patch. We will fill to adult volunteer and camper capacity.
